Leiden’s Floating Christmas Market 13 December-24 December

Here you will find 86 winter chalet floating on the Nieuwe Rijn river in the centre of the city. The chalets provide seasonal goodies, Christmas merchandise to dutch food and heartwarming Christmas drinks. From December 8, there will also be a floating ice skating rink on the Nieuwe Rijn river, until January 5. For just 8,50 euros per person, everybody, young and old, is welcome to be part of the winter wonderland extravaganza. website

Haarlem Christmas Market 7 December -8 December

The Christmas Market has been around for 25 years. Around and on the Grote Markt you will find around 300 stalls and various shopping streets where you can find Christmas gifts. Thanks to its beauty Haarlem is a particularly good place to host a market thanks to its beauty.
